For Gold Mind I am approaching mindfulness from a fundamentally different paradigm.  Heretofore mindfulness is something known and embodied by teachers or Venerables, Monks who have taken refuge. Students/ones who desire to know the fruits of practice come to the monks for instruction.

In Gold Mind I must present value - share my brain injury as the opportunity that we living human beings have to awaken.
I must show what this awakening is and point to tools to learn for oneself and the plethora of resources, many in the Buddhist tradition as well as Shamanism and other places.

First, in our meditating practice we must know that our Awakening is at stake. without concentrated practice that I continually choose and re choose when it goes away I'm screwed. Awakening will not occur.
